Objectives
The main objective of the Doctoral Program in Mathematics is to produce Doctoral Theses of the highest quality in Mathematics and to promote the internationalization of research and excellence in terms of the most demanding international academic and research indicators.
The current program is heir to a long tradition of the University of Valladolid in the direction of Research in Mathematics, maintained without interruption since the creation of Mathematics studies. The doctoral studies are integrated into a complete educational offer that connects the undergraduate studies in Mathematics (including double degree offers with Physics and Computer Science) with the presentation of the doctoral thesis through the Master of Research in Mathematics.
